In addition to the Bingo event, downtown Antioch has seen a surge of new businesses contributing to its revitalization.
Off the Charts, the city's first cannabis retail store, opened its doors in mid-November, bringing increased foot traffic to the area.
Manager Phi Bui noted the community's positive response, stating, "They get excited. They walked in like, 'No way, there's one downtown.' So, they got really excited when we're opening up."
Another exciting addition is Hen & Drake Tea, a modern tearoom that began as a pandemic hobby and has now evolved into a vibrant community space.
Owner Erin Green emphasized the tearoom's role as a gathering place, saying, "I want this to be a really cool gathering space and something different to do. You don’t need a reason to go to tea. You can just be celebrating life in general."
The Downtown Business Bingo Game is more than just a fun activity; it's a celebration of Antioch's thriving local businesses and a testament to the community's resilience and growth.
Residents and visitors alike are invited to participate, explore, and support the businesses that make downtown Antioch a vibrant place to be.
