The Sunday market brings more than 25 farmers and vendors, free parking, and a four-hour produce window to Antioch through the May-to-October season.
Antioch's Sunday market season is about to reopen with the Antioch Farmers' Market scheduled to begin May 10 in the city's Rivertown district.
According to the official market details from California Farmers' Markets Association, the market runs Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. during the May-to-October season at the parking lot at I Street and 3rd Street in Antioch.
The market description says visitors can expect more than 25 farmers and vendors along with fresh produce, prepared foods, baked goods, eggs, organic vegetables, and seasonal specialties including Brentwood white corn, apricots, peaches, nectarines, and strawberries as the season develops.
Free parking is available at City Hall across from the market, EBT is accepted at the information booth, and pets are not permitted except for service animals.
That combination makes the Sunday market one of Antioch's more practical recurring community stops: part grocery run, part neighborhood outing, and part seasonal reminder that East County produce season is starting to ramp up.
Event details can change, so the best source for current information is the official Antioch Farmers' Market page. |
