Get ready, Oakley! The much-anticipated 2025 Hometown Halloween Decorating Contest is here, inviting residents to transform their homes into haunting masterpieces.
Unleash your creativity with spider webs, goblins, and ghouls to spookify your house. The winner will receive a $100 Ace Hardware gift card and a yard sign to display on Halloween.
The contest is open to any home within the City of Oakley and is limited to the exterior front yard and roof only. Entries will be posted online for public voting. Decorations installed by a professional service will not be eligible.
One video or photo will be accepted per address. Videos must be 1 minute or less in length and with no added sound, text or graphics overlay. Please note that YouTube video submissions will be linked to the channel you upload it to. MP4, PNG or JPEG submissions are preferred.
If your entry does not meet the submission requirements, you will be contacted to correct the issue before the deadline of October 15th. If you are unable to provide a photo or corrected link by the submission deadline, only your address will be displayed on the voting page.
Entry Deadline: Wednesday, October 15
Voting Period: Thursday, October 16 - Sunday, October 26
Winner Announced: Monday, October 27
